Serving Bowmanville Since 1991
As Mary Poppins once said, "A spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down." Instead of medicine, we have physiotherapy and instead of sugar we have coffee, tea and an assortment of treats, but you get the idea.
At Telma Grant P.T., we like to have fun doing what we do in a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Patients are encouraged to help themselves in our little kitchen area in-between treatment and exercises. Children are always welcome and enjoy our cozy supervised play area.
Welcome to our office. We have been providing physiotherapy services to Clarington since 1991. In fact, Telma Grant, P.T. was the first private physiotherapist to open in Bowmanville. We have been at our current location - 234 King Street East - since 2008.
We treat patients with orthopedic and sport injuries. If you have something that hurts, physiotherapy may be able to help. We treat motor vehicle accident victims (MVA's), WSIB and extended health patients. In many cases we can directly bill your insurance company. We also offer custom made orthotics and have a massage therapist on site.
Our commitment is to get you in for your initial assessment within 2 business days of your call.

Telma Grant, P.T. is the only publicly funded clinic in Clarington. We are pleased to announce the Minsitry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC) has chosen our clinic to provide publicly funded physiotherapy services to eligible patients.
The MOHLTC provides funding on an Episode of Care (EOC) model through selected Community Physiotherapy Clinics. The EOC model is very different from the old OHIP fee for service model. An EOC is one discrete group of condition/diagnosis specific, time-limited, goal-oriented physiotherapy services. Funding is at the rate of $312.00 per EOC. There is no restriction on the number of EOC's a patient may receive.
To be eligible for publicly funded physiotherapy, patients must be:
- 65 and older, or;
- 19 and younger, or;
- Any age after overnight hospitalization for a condition that requires physiotherapy, or;
- A recipient of Ontario Works or the Ontario Disability Support Program (with or without a valid Ontario health card)
